Sharp UX P-100 – A Wise Business Arrangement

Sharp is one of those companies that has always proven to be successful at what they do and produced rather great products. The Sharp UX P-100 Printer is by far no exception to the rule. It works well, quickly, and takes up practically no space at all. For these reasons alone you should already be frantically looking for one to purchase. However if that hasn’t convinced you why you should get one that by all means feel free to read the rest of the review. The best toner for this printer is the UX P-100 toner.

Perhaps one of the best places to start when reviewing something especially an electronic appliance is to consider space. How much space do you actually have to set up a new machine? Well this Sharp system happens to be able to fit even in the smallest of spaces due to its small size. So space here is definitely not an issue.

This machine uses a ribbon that actually puts the image onto the paper. This ribbon is actually comprised of thin carbon that uses thermal transfer for printing. It works rather well as far as legibility and darkness is concerned but it falls a little short if your aim is for sharpness and crispness. It is not a high quality printer but it does do basic documents rather well.

Ribbon printing can sometimes frustrate potential buyers because they don’t adequately understand how it works. That and it always seems to them like they are buying additional ribbons which will in fact run you around $20.00 a ribbon. The great thing about this is that there are benefits to ribbon printing over ink printing and we will discuss those coming up.

After the ribbon is used it actually gets wound around another spool. If you are careful enough you can in fact rewind the ribbon back onto the original spool. This will in turn actually allow you to use the ribbon again. This method isn’t 100% effective but it can be quite close. Not to mention the savings you then can have from not having to continually purchase ribbon.

Like most machines this one has some of the comparable features of others. It has the capability to store up to 30 numbers for fast and effective dialing. Also it can handle up to 24 pages of printing if you happen to need that many all at once. The printer itself only holds 10 pages so once page 9 is taken you have to restock the printer for it to continue efficiently.

The Sharp system does have the capacity to store up to 30 numbers as was said earlier. In order to access these numbers there are arrow keys located near the dialing mechanism. This allows for you to scroll through the numbers to find the one that you need. Also if you happen to have Caller ID activated on your service you can even review your call list.

The Sharp UX-P100 Printer and UX P-100 toner cartridge is quite a reasonable buy for all of the above reasons. It isn’t really something that should be second guessed. If you decide that this system is the one for you then don’t forget to pick up the UX P-100 toner cartridge to go along with your purchase. Purchasing the toner that correlates to the printer is always recommended. It’s the best Toner.
