All about girls hairbows
It is so easy, easier than ever to make your darling girl look and feel like a princess. It is really rather quite easy, especially when you can ad a simple or extravagant bow to her hair.
Bows can transform your daughter into a princess by just magically putting them into her beautiful, soft, young hair. You can get a large variety of bows. Bows come in all sorts of different shapes, patterns and sizes. Bows are the perfect touch when it comes time to take her sweet picture.
You can literally pick any color of the rainbow, and there is a bow, somewhere on a darling little girl. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lavender, purple, black, chocolate brown, black, white and even cream! When it comes to bows, it is time to think outside of the bow box, metaphorically speaking that is. Although pink and lavender are the typical colors worn by girls, a bow can change all of that. If you don’t want to go all out and buy blue clothing for your girl, use a blue bow as an accent to her cute church dress, or when she is wearing jeans.
There are big bows, small bows, curly bows and gigantic bows. Small bows are typically called bitty or itty bitty bows. They can come on a clip or just a plain bow that you can put on a babies head with a touch of honey or corn syrup.
Then, we get into the slightly bigger hair bows. Those are called toddler bows. There are quite fashionable. Typically they come on an alligator clip, but it is not uncommon to find them on a French style barrette too. Often, you will see a young toddler sporting two of these in her hair. Just part the girls hair all the way down and make two darling pig tails. Then, just slip a bow over each pigtail on each side. That is a timeless look, adored by many!
Another very fashionable, fun bow is a curly bow. Also referred to as a korker. The ribbon on these has been heat treated generally to get that darling curl. There are usually about 30+ curls on these bows, that just give a lot of bounce and flair when worn in the hair. These have to be one of my favorites. You can mix and match so many colors and patterns to create a real unique bow, or a festive one too. Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, 4th of July and Christmas holidays make for some darn cute korker bows.
One of the last styles are usually a boutique bow. These can really vary by different bow making artists. They can be really fun, with all sorts of fun ribbons tucked in, including ric rac, ruffle ribbon, polka dots, etc. I have seen many a darling bow with some cute hearts printed on the ribbon, shamrocks, pumkins, and even firecrackers!
Bows can be really fun nowadays. It adds just that special little touch to any adorable outfit.
