Pale Blue

how do I get red wine stains out of pale blue silk?
help…at a recent class reunion (we won’t go there) some wonderful old friend hugged me and spun me around while holding his rather full glass of red wine…I was wearing a new, pale aqua blue silk blouse which is probably my favorite)…He spilled the wine all down my back.
With my lady friends help, we tried to use salt on it and also someone said try salt and soda water. The plain salt worked best but was far from successful…It is now dry and I am ready to try again but am sacared to ruin it. more….I would love any wisdom…Thank you!!!!
Use 409 and rub into stain before washing. If stain still exists DO NOT dry. Repeat steps again. DO NOT use 409 on oil, it will only spread the stain. For this pre-treat with dishwashing soap such as Dawn or Ajax.

The Man with No Name Trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) $15.00 Sergio Leone’s trilogy of operatic spaghetti Westerns with Clint Eastwood made the former TV star into an international sensation as the scraggly, silent Man with No Name, a wandering rogue with a scheming mind and a sense of humor drier than the dusty, wind-scoured desert. With A Fistful of Dollars, a blatant rip-off of Kurosawa’s cynical samurai hit Yojimbo, Leone transforms the Western hero… |
