Make-up for a red prom dress? Help!?

My prom is coming up in early July. I’m wearing a red wine coloured dress from Debenhams (picture on the link!) http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010114401_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Dresses
If you can’t see it, it’s a deep red colour, spaghetti strapped and ankle length with organza.
I am getting my hair done my a hairdresser, but am attempting the make-up myself! I would love some advice on what colours to wear. I use makeup a lot and have a lot in my collection, so anything suggested would most probably be achievable
I have fair skin, green-blue eyes, dark blonde hair with highlights and I do not have freckles. I will be wearing my hair curly.
At my school people don’t tend to go too ‘out there’ with the dresses, hair and makeup, so something noticeably formal but not too over the top would be absolutely perfect!

Your dress is beautiful, so I would go with simple makeup to keep the attention on your dress. For your face, just do whatever face makeup routine you normally do. Then try applying a sand colored eyeshadow to just your lid, I like the Almay Intense i-Color trio for blue eyes because the sand color is the perfect mix of color and shimmer. Then line your upper lash line with a black liquid liner, I like Maybelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner in black. Curl lashes and apply your favorite black mascara. For lips, apply a moisturizing lip balm, or chapstick. Then, apply a lip stick that matches the color of your dress and blot. Then, apply the lip balm or chapstick again and this should complete the look. Your makeup will be pretty, polished, compliment your dress, and leave all the attention for the gorgeous dress.
