Fabric Ribbons

Fabric Ribbons
What fabric of ribbon and what width do I use to make a ribbon choker?

Going to the fabric store today…just interested in what fabrics and widths people thing are cool.
And colors….this is both for myself and possibly to sell.

Satin ribbon would be the best. It comes in a multitude of great colors and varieties. Black is always a popular, and looks good with any kind of charm, or even pinning a great broach to it. It’s impossible to mismatch a color with black. For more fun/funky looks, there are rainbow striped ribbon, ribbons with patterns on them, i.e. daisies, hearts, polka dots (very popular at the moment in fashion), etc. They also have ribbons trimmed with other materials like lace, velvet, even beading. As for width I’d go with anything from 1 inch to 1 1/4 inches. Good luck hope that helped!
