Xerox Phaser 8200 ink Review

The Xerox 8200 is a color printer ideal for a small business that looking to upgrade its capacity with an affordable color printer that still provides high quality printing. The Xerox 8200 has a monthly duty cycle of up to 65,000 pages. Measuring 17 inches wide, 15.3 inches high, and 23.5 inches deep, the 8200 is easy to fit into almost any office and with a low purchase price and a even lower ink cost, the Phaser 8200 is just as easy to fit into any budget.

The Xerox printer connects to a computer via a standard high speed bi-directional parallel USB cable and is network ready through an Ethernet connection on all models except the 8200/B. The Xerox Phaser 8200 is compatible with most operating systems, including Windows 95/98/ME/2000, Windows XP, Mac OS 8/9, Mac OS X and several Unix operating systems.

This printer utilizes solid ink technology that produces more vibrant colors than standard laser and inkjet printers. In addition, the solid ink used in the Xerox 8200 produce less waste and are safe and easy to handle. The Xerox 8200 uses four solid ink; black, yellow, magenta and cyan. These Phaser 8200 ink sticks create high quality color printouts throughout their life and produce even, consistent color on almost any printing media. Additionally, the technology in the Xerox 8200 helps it to produce some of the fastest print speeds and first page time out speeds for a printer of its size.

The Xerox 8200 prints at a quick, consistent speed of 16 pages per minute when printing in both monochrome or full color. The first page out time of the Xerox 8200 is an incredibly quick 9 seconds so even the most complex print jobs that you send will start quckly. The 8200 has a standard page capacity of 200 pages, but two 500 sheet trays can be added for the office or business that needs a higher paper capacity. The 8200 is capable of handling a wide range of print media, including labels, envelopes, transparencies and glossy sheets.

The 8200 prints with a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi to ensure that every print job you have comes out in incredibly colorful, bright and clear documents. This printer is powered by a 300 MHz processor that easily handles even complex print jobs. The printer comes with 64 MB of memory installed on the base model, and all models can be upgraded to include as much as 256 MB of memory. Duplex printing is available.
