Cotton Fabric

Would it work well to sew cotton fabric to fleece?
I want to make a shopping cart cover and need to know if sewing cotton to fleece (with a batting inbetween) would hold up well. I’ve made one using just fleece and it turned out great but I’d like to make a reversible cart cover and have fleece on one side for cold weather and cotton on the other for warmer weather. Would it be easy to sew the two fabrics together – would it hold up to washings? Thanks! I appreciate the help. Hope I placed this in the correct catagory.
It would hold up, just leave out the batting..and use a good short stitch length. I just made a bunch(27) of fleece winter scarves, with flannel on the other side.
Make sure you wash the cotton first before you add it to the fleece to make up for shrinkage. use a 1/4 inch seam allowance. you should have no problems…
Fleece should be think enough to make up for the batting.
